The purpose of this assignment is to teach you how to plan a video, the elements are the same, Setting, characters, dialogue, plot, special effects and sound effects. You do not need to script a word for word script, just get scenes, settings, storyline and characters down. You may work with a partner to create your drama
Finish writing your script and recording your radio drama this week. As you record make short pieces by recording 20-30 seconds of dialogue at a time, stop recording then restart. The reason is that if you mess up after 3 minutes you will need to begin again. If you mess up after 10 seconds it will be much easier to recreate. Once recorded, use Garageband to add sound effects and stringers - introduction and closing music If you have recorded with other classmates, transfer your project to their computer by choosing music, garageband, your song or what ever you named it, then use the flash drive to move it to the second or third computer. Each student should experiment with adding sound effects and intro music on their copy of the radio drama. Once you are done, have a peer listen to evaluate your finished project. Export your radio drama to itunes and then place it on your iwebsite portfolio.
Record Use GarageBand to record your drama. Use Voice Candy if you choose to get different voices. You will have to Send to iTunes then import into Garageband if you do this, but it does get you good voice choices. Add introduction and end music Add sound effects during your story. Add ending credits, writer, actors... Place your finished drama on your iweb site, state what you learned doing this project.
