Tech skill area: Hand Held Exploration Project - Create a story from your phone, iphone, ipod, ipad, or MP3 player √ Hand Held Reports or Stories We often forget that in our pockets or bags we have a small computer, camcorder, camera, mic and word processing machine all in our cell phones and pods. In today's fast society we are often witness to news stories but just stand by or maybe email a pic or short vid to a friend. What if we instead did a bit of reporting, got names, place, facts and created a news story from this eye-witness report. What about our personal stories, chats with friends, talking with peers after sporting events, creating our own investigative reports on our surroundings, things we know about personally. Again, we have the tools but seldom use them. For this project you will use only your hand held device. Think about what goes on around you. Events in your day. What do you want to know more about? Create a plan as you would for any other video.
